Junix Jerald Intal Delos Santos (he/him/his)
Junix is a rising Year 4 Ph.D. Student in (Social) Psychology at the Department of Psychology of the Ateneo de Manila University. He received both his B.S. and M.S. in psychology degrees from Saint Louis University. He is currently an assistant professor of psychology and a member of the University Research Board - Research Ethics Committee at the University of Baguio. Junix is also a registered psychometrician and a licensed professional teacher in the Philippines.

Junix previously served as the Research Coordinator of Katatagan Online, an online resiliency program for Filipinos, supervised by Dr. Ma. Regina Hechanova and Dr. Arsenio Alianan, Jr. Currently, he is the Research Supervisor of a project on developing a resilience program for Filipino frontline workers funded by the Department of Science and Technology - Philippine Council for Health Research and Development (DOST-PCHRD), headed by Dr. Liane Peña Alampay.
Junix is a member of various professional organizations for psychology and mental health such as the Psychological Association of the Philippines (PAP) and the Pambansang Samahan sa Sikolohiyang Pilipino (PSSP, [National Association for Sikolohiyang Pilipino]). He is a core member of the rainbow collective called the PAP LGBT Psychology Special Interest Group (SIG). He currently co-chairs the PAP Teaching Psychology SIG and co-heads the Continuing Professional Education Committee of the PAP Research in Psychology SIG. In addition, Junix is a member of the Gender Justice Research Collective at the Ateneo, which aims to examine the multiple ways the person is understood as gendered, sexual, and classed.
Junix recently represented the Philippines in the American Psychological Association’s Global Psychology Learning Leadership Institute as an emerging leader where he worked on a project on a gender-responsive program against LGBTQIA+ prejudice and discrimination in the Philippines. Aside from this, he also participated in the Asian Association of Social Psychology Summer School 2021 where he worked on a research project on social identity theory and system justification theory in relation to vaccine hesitancy. He has also participated in the Culture & Psychology Summer School 2022 of the International Association for Cross-Cultural Psychology.
In 2023, Junix was a doctoral fellow in the Summer Visiting Doctoral Research Fellowship at Boston College.
